Hello, and thank you for dropping by. I'm guessing that, like me, you love handmade. You love the fact what you own is not mass-produced, and that you're contributing to a community of artisans who still believes in the labour of love and uniqueness.

Rags to Peaches was birthed from that belief. Both my parents were tailors, and artisans in their own right. They came from an era of make do and mend, where things were made from scratch, rather than bought off the shelves. Watching them at the treadle from a young age sowed a seed in me that has today flourished into a passion for making, creating and imagining.

Like my parents, I started this venture from humble beginnings. It all began in a little apartment in Hampstead, London, where the first bag was stitched into creation. All I had then was nothing but a machine, some scrap cloth, and a whole load of hope and imagination. I'm glad that was my first, but hardly the last bag I'd ever make.

Whoever you are, you're warmly welcome. Rags to Peaches was set up as a place to nourish souls and celebrate individuality, and I hope you'd join me on this journey.

Yours,

Pei
